Q: What is reflexology?
A: Reflexology is based on pressure applied to specific points, reflex points, most usually in the feet, hands, and ears. By working the reflex points with firm yet gentle pressure, you illicit a whole body response which can help stimulate parts that are under productive or calm parts that are over productive leaving the recipient with an overall feeling of relaxation and rejuvenation.
Q: What is Reiki?
A: All living things are composed of energy that interacts with the world around us. Reiki is performed on your energetic field which can help to alleviate stress, enhance relaxation and reduce pain. Reiki can be done over your whole body, or localized to a specific area that is of concern.
Q: How long is a session?
A: A complete foot reflexology session is an hour
A complete ear reflexology session is half an hour
A full Reiki session is an hour
Reiki can also just be a quick tune up, lasting 15 to 30 minutes depending on specific needs
Q: Where are you located?
A: My services are mobile and I can come to you! If you prefer to be in a separate space from your life, I have dedicated space set aside, contact us for more information.
Q: Who can benefit from Reiki and Reflexology?
A: In a word, EVERYONE! To the very young to the very old, there is no one who can not receive benefit from both Reiki and Reflexology. There are very few instances that prevent a Reflexology or Reiki session from taking place. A health quesionnaire will be completed on your first visit and if there are any concerns, they will be addressed before the first session commences.
Q: Can my newborn receive Reflexology?
A: Yes! Reflexology is very beneficial for infants and children alike. My daughter was only 2 hours old when she first received Reflexology and it not only helped her get to know my touch, it also helped with the stress of delivery and get her digestive system functioning outside of the womb. I have a special routine for children 0 to 5 years old which lasts at most 15 minutes.
Q: What are the rates?
A: A full hour session, either Reiki or Foot Reflexology is $50 in the clinic space
A full hour session at your home is $70
A complete Ear Reflexology session which lasts 30 minutes in the clinic space is $25
A complete Ear Reflexology session which lasts 30 minutes in your home is $30
A 15 minute Reiki recharge session is $20 in the clinic space
A 15 minute Reiki recharge session in your home is $30
